I started brewing herbal tea in my teenage years to help cope with anxiety issues. I then took an interest in experimenting with different organic herbs like valerian root, passionflower, chamomile, lavender, and skullcap. That's when I realized that these natural plants, which have been used medicinally for thousands of years, were more therapeutic and medicinally beneficial than any pill that any psychiatrist could prescribe me. The more I experimented and the more I researched, the more I developed a real passion for herbal medicine. I began brewing tea for my friends and sharing what I had learned; then people would ask me if I could make them a tea blend or recommend a remedy for their high blood pressure or their insomnia or their pain. And from this, a sort of cooperative was born where herbs, ideas, and good vibes are all shared.

 

Village Organic Herbals was started with the same principle and ideology of that cooperative. I like to think of it, not just as a company or a business, but a little village where people know each other, where they share ideas about health, and where they can look to their neighbor for tea or medicine.

 

We are committed to organic living and providing products that were grown, made, and wild harvested with love and integrity. To us, organic means:

• no synthetic chemicals or pesticides

• no GMOs

• untreated

We believe that if you're going to use natural medicines for your health, then spraying them with chemicals would defeat the entire purpose.
